Like the Calliope hummingbird that depends on a regenerative forest life cycle, Monadnock is offering you the opportunity to close the loop on your paper waste stream.
The Calliope Hummingbird is the smallest long-distance migrant in the world. They breed in mountain meadows, aspen thickets near streams, and open forests that are regenerating from forest fire or logging. They travel 5,000 miles each year in a big oval from the breeding grounds to wintering grounds.
Process
- High-quality paper waste is collected from the printer/converter/end user and returned to the pulp mill.
- The material is de-inked and cleaned without the use of chlorine or chlorine derivatives to create beautiful, clean, bright-white, recycled fiber.
- Fiber is shipped to Monadnock to create new PCW (post-consumer waste) recycled paper and board – for a renewed and useful life in your supply chain.
